Day 01: Colombo - Galle
After your arrival at Colombo Airport our guide will meet and greet you. After refreshment we will drive you to Galle. Built by the Dutch beginning in 1663, the 36-hectare Fort occupies most of the promontory that forms the older part of Galle. Described by the notoriously hard-to-please Paul Theroux as being ‘garlanded with red hibiscus and smelling of the palm-scented ocean, En-route visit Ambalangoda Mask factory, Ambalangoda, the town is famous for masks & puppets. You can also visit the turtle hatchery. On arrival at Galle you can check in to the Hotel we have booked for you. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02: Galle Sightseeing
After breakfast from the Hotel, your guide will take you into the walled area of the town which consists of narrow streets lined with European style buildings, traditional churches and small shops selling lace and jewelery. This charming area is best explored on foot walking towards the lighthouse and sea wall, visit Kalutara Temple. You can also Unawatuna, a beautiful beach - take a swim; enjoy the best eating places. Enjoy the sun set and Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Galle Sightseeing
After breakfast you can go and vist the famous Galle fort built in 1588 by the Portuguese. It is a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument, which even after more than 423 years maintains a polished appearance. The fort is also a UNESCO world heritage site.You can also do shooping in the fort. One can also visit Tea factory, Sea Museum. The Weligama fisheries village is a must see place you can see fisherman fishing on sticks. Also visit Martin Wickramasinghe Folk Museum Complex. Spend the evening enjoying the sunset and some shopping. Over night stay at Hotel.
Day 04: Galle – Yala National Park
Morning after Breakfast checkout from the Hotel and we will drive you to the next location, Yala National Park, it is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka.The Park has five blocks of which two blocks are open for public.You can explore the forest on a open Jeep safari to see the Elehants and Leapords, This park has the highest leopard concentration in the world, Over night stay at Hotel.
Day 05: Yala – Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and we will drive you to the beautiful Nuwara Eliya. The name means “city of light”. On arrival we will check you in to the Hotel we have booked for you. Spend the evening with some local sightseeing and shopping. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 06: Nuwara Eliya
Morning after breakfast, We will take you to explore Nuwara Eliya.
Visit to Haggala Botanical Gardens which is very famous for its landscape beauty.
Pedro Tea Factory offers fascinating tours. In the hills nearby there are paths through the tea plantations to wander along.
Return to Hotel Overnight stay.
Day 07: Nuwara Eliya – Colombo
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Colombo. Colombo is the largest city and the commercial, industrial and cultural capital of Sri Lanka, Check-In to the Hotel and after refereshment will go for Half day city Tour.While on your city tour in Colombo you may visit famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum,Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu,Islam and Christian places of worship. (Entrance fees to sites not included). For shopping, you may visit Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, Noritake, etc. Overnight stay at your hotel in Colombo
Day 08: Kandy Excursion
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Today you will visit Kandy Enroute to your destination, you can visit one of the most important tourist attraction in Sri Lanka,the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Volunteers and caretakers provide shelter and take care of orphaned,abandoned and injured elephants within the park. You can watch caretakers feed, bathe and help these gentle giants. You want walk with the herd to the nearby river to watch the elephants bathe and play around in water.Overnight stay at your hotel in Colombo
Day 09: Deprture
Today, check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport to board your flight for your onward
